About Leisure League:
How Leisure League was founded!Leisure League was born out of a deeply personal chapter in the founder’s life, in late 2024, she found herself spending more time isolating and being less creative. She missed the joy that came from creating and having a community.
On a whim, she put “meet and make new friends(start a club?)” on her 2025 bingo card. Then she prayed about and decided to share the idea with her closest family and friends, and their excitement fueled hers. That very night, Morgan (co-founder), Quanisha (our close-friend) and Liz (founder) sat on group facetime brainstorming names and dreaming up ideas for the club and the steps it would take to bring this idea to life.
Our official launch came on February 15, 2025 — and it was nerve-wrecking but so much fun! The energy in the room, the laughter, the connections being made… it was everything we had envisioned and more. From there, our community began to grow quickly.
Today, Elizabeth and Morgan pour intention into every event they host — making sure each one feels special, memorable, and rooted in the spirit of creativity and connection that inspired Leisure League in the first place.
Special thanks to their silent partners, Michaela and Quanisha, for their invaluable support behind the scenes—whether it’s their time, ideas, contributions, or boundless encouragement, we appreciate them more than words can say. We love them deeply!

Founder Hi, I’m Elizabeth but most people call me Liz!
I’m from Birmingham, AL (with a short but sweet detour in Mobile for school). I currently work in foster care and I love getting to support and teach kids. I’m a creative, curious introvert who’s always looking for new ways to explore the world and build meaningful connections.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me traveling, trying new restaurants, scrapbooking, working out, reading, listening to music, or doing makeup.

Morgan
Hi, I’m Morgan!
Originally from Montgomery, AL, I went to college in Mobile and now call Birmingham home, where I work as a Training Coordinator.
By nature, I’m an introvert with a few surprising extroverted traits. Creativity is at my core, and I’m passionate about all forms of art. I’m always chasing adventure—whether it’s traveling, exploring new cultures, or diving into something totally new.
In my free time, I love listening to music, reading, trying new recipes, and treating myself (and friends) to custom nail designs by yours truly.
